The wait for THE DEATH OF ANALOG PSYCHO # 2 compilation tape is finally over! This project was scheduled to be released on April 2014 but have been delayed because of so much trouble we had with NUSANTARAJIM PRODUCTIONS. THE DEATH OF ANALOG PSYCHO is our proud brand and the idea to put another volume was due to massive supports we got from the debut release, 300 copies when sold out like 'fried bananas'.
Just when I started working on finding and compiling new tracks for this volume, Khairul Askwhat, the owner of NUSANTARAJIM PRODUCTIONS came up with song from his band, GOATLUSTING CHAOS. I never meet Askwhat before, and from our records, he has been one of our great customers over the year. He never back-off with his orders and paid in full and never rip-off. Well, since the production cost is damn expensive. I offered him a deal, if he wants to co-produce the tape. I gave him full 30 minutes on SIDE B with his own choice of bands (with his own terms on each bands). The agreement was both labels pay 50% of total cost for 300 unit cassettes. Both labels will get 150 units each. The burden will be lighter. And everybody’s going to be happy.
When it already turned to June 2014, I pushed Askwhat since he got me nothing except for logos and biographies of the bands on his side. He asked me to get the cover sleeves ready and paid his part on printing job. I got it done!
Later on, week by week he went missing in action. He removed almost everyone on his facebook account. He shut down his phone line. He never reply any email and are being reported quit from his daily job at ice cream bar. His dearest friends don’t have any idea on what is going on with him? I am crippled without hope. The mystery of NUSANTARAJIM PRODUCTION was comparable to the missing of MH370! Nobody can trace his fart. He went completely off radar.
A week later, I have his close friends willing to help me with this project. They said they will take over Askwhat’s mess even though they never told what’s really happened to him? I don’t care much as long as this project is done. My inbox was full with messages from friends asking me about Askwhat. Most of them were victims like me. NUSANTARAJIM and Askwhat disappear without any logic explanations.
After mixtape was ready in our hand. (Thanks to Blackbeard of PURGE THE ARBITRATOR) Again I am lost. Askwhat’s comrades refused to take over on financial matter and the project was delayed once again.
Finally they decided, I should proceed with this project and forward the master tape to pressing plant and since they didn’t have the money, I have my rights to publish this tape without any more bullshit for the sake of FAITHCRAFT PRODUCTIONS. Since the production cost increased 10% for no reason by this capitalist pig. FAITHCRAFT PRODUCTIONS only produced it in 150 copies exclusively.
All Askwhat’s part and his friends collaborations is very much appreciated and will be remembered. But NUSTANRAJIM PRODUCTIONS and Khairul Askwhat must take responsibility on his actions. To us the lesson is learned here. It was a wrong investment.
